BIO
I am an Award-Winning, Chicago-based filmmaker and graduate from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. Finishing with a double major BFA in Film Production and Journalism/Media Studies.
All I’ve ever wanted to do with my life is make movies.
Milwaukee has a very small and independent film industry. It taught me to become a scrappy filmmaker, using anything available to me to create movies within the restrictions of my limited resources.
My work explores ideas of dysfunctional youth, misguided mentorship, movement as communication, cult of personality, familial landscape, and more. I find myself creating work stripped of dialogue, instead communicating through action and form to be representative of this beautiful medium.
I’ve successfully written and directed my own short films, “Beside Myself”, “TripTych”, and “Believe You Me”, with many more to come in the future. I’ve earned multiple awards through The New York Movie Awards, Lonely Wolf London International Film Fest, Flickfair, Milwaukee 2020 Zen Film Fest, and Milwaukee Underground Film Festival.
I’ve had the pleasure of accruing years of multifaceted experience working on many short and feature films, creating video for exhibitions, directing music videos, documentaries, and advertisements. No matter the medium, I am fortunate to do my dream job every day.
